but seriously.

He is taking an esclade and trying to go mountain climbing. An H2 would make it up, not an esclade with 22's

its all BS, its so biased it isnt even funny.
Yea,

I see the same thing.

Why didn’t he compare the real Hummer(not the suburban H2), which is in the same price range as the Rover and designed for off road use with nice amenities?

He then drives on “the road” up and down, while some assclown takes the hood- cruiser Escalade and the HummerH2 out of the city and goes up the side of the mountain on a hump that a jacked up truck would find difficult.

You guys say he has all this experience...why does this dumbass say the Vette has leaf springs? He actually refers to a horse and cart somewhere. What he needs to do is compare the Vette to a car in its price range and weight, same with the Mustang. This dick was so off base I couldn’t watch anymore of his British ignorance. Why is he comparing all the other countries to America? Apples to apples British vehicles of the same use cost and weight. BTW what car won the 24hours the last few years...an American horsecart: Corvette.

FWIW I thought it was completely biased too, clarkson's a tool anyway - he knows cars and how to drive them far better than he lets on, so it annoys me that he can't give an intellegent review rather than tv for 12 year olds.

Still cool to see lotus's beating mustangs with twice the hp etc. (even if it's all rigged) and I reckon we do/did better muscle cars in europe though - 400bhp+ v8 weighing just over a tonne/2200lbs:
