Actually, I recall my parents wrapping glassware in old newspapers in order to pack and transport them during moving. I suspect this practice was ubiquitous in the early Pleistocene Epoch, prior to the invention of styrofoam.

Newspaper is also a carbon sink, and can offset global warming.. Not that I actually believe in anthropogenic global warming.

In order to have a tax you have a to have a problem to fix and the only fix always has to involve money.. Funny how that works isn't it..
