Everyone will lay down a bike. That's entirely true regardless of riding ability and luck. But more times than not, it's cheaper to buy new skin for the bike than to let the insurance company buy oem stuff for it.

Some banks don't require insurance. Green Tree for one specializes in motorcycle loans and doesn't require insurance under a certain amount. You might want to check into it.

Yeah, Honda Finance will require you to have insurance. Shop around though, their rates are usually very high.

Hmm.. you won't get bored of the 500 R nor a sv650.

Learn how to ride a bike before you move to something that is and will be beyond your reach. If you don't know how to control the bike in a situtation that you get introuble with.. well, then guess what? you're in ****.

Learn before you move up, is my only advise I can give, and that hope you will take.

i don't have enough $$$ to learn. I was gonna get the cbr 600f4i, but i can get an 02 954RR for 8k new which is the same price tag. i heard this same thing when i bought my car, the lady did not want to sell it to me, but i had the most money so i won. Besides im not gonna be doing crazy **** since im no where near a good rider.

..I'm too much of a wuss to ride a bike out in traffic. No thank you, I like it in a nice comfortable bucket seat, with some music, air conditioning.
