How To Lower The Hydrocarbon Output At Load
Do not use the store bought stuff the water content is higher. I have some stuff that will work this **** will pass a dirty 454 bb. the store bought stuff is like 70% the stuff I have is 90% I can't remember the can size I have but I know how much aprox of the can you should use per how many gallons of fuel.. let me know if you want some and I'll get some out to you.
Well you can still lean out you car much more because your nox count is still pretty low or you can go the alcohol route..but if you do get it out of your fuel system ASAP! or it'll mess up anything rubber.

Colin, doesnt it lean out your a/f ratio thats why it seamed like it had really low emissions?
**** I don't know, I'm not a science.. I know a number went UP but it was still below what you are allowed after I did the MH "trick". And I think it was HC because I was failing C02 consistantly.
Commercial Alcohols won't give you methyl hydrate. They'll sell you ethanol, the same stuff they sell to Sunoco to put in their gas. Sunoco 94 has 10% ethanol already.
Ethanol is not the same as methanol. It doesn't eat anything in your fuel system. It requires 50% more fuel by volume than gasoline. (methanol requires 100%) Because it has tons of oxygen in it, it burns much more completely than gasoline, and thats largely what helps clean up your exhaust.

Methyl hydrate is used during winter in air brake and air tank applications to prevent moisture in lines from freezing and sticking valves or blocking paths. That's where I got it. I didn't go to any fuel specific place asking for alcohol.
