Redirect Wastegate Output Into Dp???

Is there any danger or drawback of welding the wastegate venting pipe into the DP? Noise is killing me whenever the wastegate opens...... I know you enjoy it a lot, Vosko

sometimes makes it harder to control boost with the wastegate vented back in

if you do it wrong it can make boost control wierd.

What kind of boost control problem will I run into? Is this problem depends on what kind of of boost controller I use (I have Profec B)? I actually got this idea from SR Motorsport http://www.srmotorsports.com/sr93trbo.html with their Apexi RX6 kits. I have the same kit and the problem with this BB turbo kit is that it reaches full boost at 4k and the wastegate opens all the way up. I am sure you can imagine how annoying that is. Any suggestion?

Get a good boost controller and you'll be fine.

Is Greddy Profec B a good enough solution? If this has impact on my boost settings, then I might have to get the car re-tuned. Please advise.

the profec should be fine, but i like the boost and tuning functions of the avc-r better. i have used both, not on a single turbo granted, but feel the avc-r is much more suited for fine tuning your boost.....

Why not run a seperate exhaust off it to the exhaust after where the cat is supposed to be?I hear thats a good way to reduce noise.Then you don't have to cut up your DP either.
