besides.. when you have a fast car.. you can make it look as fast as you want cause you have something to back it up.... i have a full kit, hood, spoiler.... but my car can back it up... if you have a stock civic dx with a kit, spoiler, and a big big wing...... and thinking that your all that... now there's something wrong!!!

 

ok honda first off the honda seen is only a north american thing..ie canada and america..you hardly see them in the uk seen or in the german seen or dutch and not to say the japanese seen...yes some japanese tuners are doing them but thats because they know that they are big HERE..and nowhere else...when I left to japan I was all about the chevies and v-8s..but there I got a rude wake up call...that is a real preformance driven place...hondas don't come out they arnt good for much...only the poor dudes and chicks bother with hondas...ok the poor dudes isn't right but guys that can't get the rx or skyline or silvia or 180's or supras...I got used to real preformance japanese cars and well they were NOT HONDAS..even the freeway racers dont bother much with nsx's rx-7 and skylines are the top dogs ..and you can't drift a honda not a real drift anyway all you can do is pull the e-brake and let it come around on you and thats gay...anyway hondas suck. and most people know it...but this is the land of honda..and well its rice time ...the best thing was when I came home from japan and this honda ricer asked me what the honda seen was like in japan...well I got a good ******* laugh from that...he didn't like my reply tho...hondas ******* suck..there is no seen for them in japan...not for racing anyway..and what makes the hype-r good is the fact that its so light thats all....get a fd or a silvia to weigh the same an holy ****..

Yes there are some fast hondas around but 98% are rice and give the rest of us true import fans, freaks, tuners, racers and drifters a bad name....and whats funnier than that is the domestic rice...yup neon, cavs, etc...and even the ocasional mustang and camaro...best example is the mustang that was on the cover of 5.0 a few months ago...WITH SKYLINE GTR BADGES ON IT....I want to crush his nuts...but honda is no preformance car...good for daily driving and going to the store to get lots of beer and chips

a certain amount of respect should be given to those that are able to make a very capable car out of an econo box...rice or not...

isnt it all subjective....

poisoned?? thats gotta suck. I could have gotten a trans already but im not gonna do that swap. It would be too much money and work. Everyone was talking about all of the crap i would have to do so i just said forget it. My trans is still trying to die but i wont let it. Im gonna end up getting it rebuilt but hopefully not soon. The engine is in, and that completed the running gear, now I have to focus on interior and a new rag to throw on the top.

 

I hate those damn Honda's too! That's why I keep buying them!! Bret forgot to mention that his old CA18DET that beat the Civic Type R got the **** spanked out it by my Teg when I was NA. :wiggle:



Rice is Rice.... there are more riced out Nissans and Toyotas over here than there are Hondas.

 

Capable being the keyword.Anybody can build it to look good especially a civic.When it can accelerate,brake and handle as good as it looks then it deserves respect.
