The "import scene" in america is just STUPID. I have yet to see a fast Honda.. and im not talking about dragg cars.. I'm talking about street drivin cars. A stock 180SX w/ an SR20DET runs in the 13's. How much crap do you have to put on a Honda to get it that fast? And **** NOS... talk about a cheater's way out! go ahead put NOS on your car...I'll keep racing you until you run out...I'll never run out of turbo.



How can you say that we are in the same "family"? If we are then Honda's the red-headed step child... you said in the begining that a Ford owner would take a Chevy over an import and vise-versa. I would take a Ford or Chevy over a Honda ANY day.



And don't even start to call Type-r's or the RSX sports cars! I beat a fully tuned Type-r Civic when I lived in Japan with an old..broke down, cant keep steady boost...180sx with a CA18DET.



AHHH I'm tiered of even thinking about this crap... cant wait to get back to Japan where Hondas arn't considerd "sports cars"

I've had 5 crx's and two RX7's... There is nothing wrong with Honda, they have great engine technology and build a damn good, reliable car. I sold my one 87 CRX at 217K with no internal engine work except for timing belt and it was still running perfect with no smoke and 45mpg. As for performance each car is totally different and has its advantages, etc.



The Hondas or more like the misconception that if you have a civic or ANY Honda, you own a ****** race car that needs a 5inch tach is ridiculous! That is all I see every ****** day. Anyway, those are the people that have given Hondas a bad name.

 

You guys actually like that red FD? You've got to be ******* kidding me. That's not only rice, but red beans and ghetto rice!

dom i wish i could my ******* power supply just took a **** so i am on the lap top. its an old muthat ****** that has a p2 233mhz. ahhhhh slow as hell. as soon as i can get my computer back up i will. i really have no need to show you a pic. i dont ever spend money on rice until i have taken care of the go fast stuff. the only thing that i put on that is kinda rice is an r1 front lip. ill post it anyway. the car is at the shop as we speak getting tuned and all my parts put on.









as far as a fast honda goes. my crx was a street driven car and it ran in the 12's all day long. sure i spent a lot of cash on it, but i was kicking the **** out of a lot of cars. i dont think i ever said an integra was a sports car. i said it was a very good car. i loved its sporty nature and it savings on insurance.



well i think that i have stirred up the hornets nest, so lets see what else you guys have to say. i think its kinda funny that you can hate a manufacture soo much.

I have the stock body too. But during the winter I'll fix some RE stuff. I like my buddy's Integra Type-R. Pure race atmosphere in that car! Not as fast as Fds but enough for mild tuned FCs.

We have a lot of racing-stripe-would-like-to-be-a-racer-civics her. Better than some damn BMW 328i coupe asses or Audi TT ******* or Golf VR6 pussies. Hehehe :rice:

 

i don't like honda for one reason... see i'm from the bay area.. and when i was in high school, everyone had a honda. the 92-95 civics were hot. the 94 integra just came out. i just hate to be like everyone else, this was also the time when HKS and Greddy was hot. so since then i've never wanted one just because everyone else have one. but don't get me wrong, i think they're great cars. i have plenty of friends that do, or use to have one. they're easy to work on, cheap, and they'll last forever. but if you want to have speed and turn some heads.... GO WITH A FD!!!
