Hi All

Holy **** man! That's got to be some kind of scary. I'm gald that you came out of this alive! Thank God! Are the police over there going to at least put that ****** away in prison?
My friend was in the same situation except he luckily had his car parked and wasn't driving. A drunk driver in a steel body utility drunk nailed his Eclipse from the side at like 40 mph.

Driving a semi with that high of a BAC should be considered attempted murder, that's seriously fucked up.
I would seriously raise some flags with Mazda about the airbags, I know it isn't going to do you any good, but it might do someone else some good down the road. That's bullshit that they didn't go off.
Glad you are ok, how you doin on work and what not? You back to work already or still laid up?

Holy **** glad your ok. Now it's time to really put it to the ******. Sue him, the company he worked for, the bar that served him, his insurance company, and any one else you can think of. Maybe his mother for having such a ******* idiot.

Just curious...
Agreed he should take responsibility and the insurance company assumed that risk when insuring him, but I fail to see how the company that owned the truck or the the bar that served him the liquor is responsible for his stupidity.

Why is it the bar's or the company's fault that the guy is a ******* moron and drank too much and hopped behind the wheel?
Just curious...

They are "liable" to some degree for letting someone get that drunk before they stop serving them alcohol. Clubs around here will kick you out, same with bars. Some will even go as far as calling a cab for you.
