Since I dont mess with 2ND or 3RD gens what does FC/FD mean?Im lost......Just the second gends are not appealing to me unless its a convertable or a Turbo II...and im to broke for a third gen right now....But I will have one ..sometime down the road....

Im not completely sure but it has to do with the VIN. In the VIN JM1FB(FC,FD) Is Japan Motor, 1 is for passenger car I believe and the FB, FC, FD is RX7 model.

So from 1981 and up, when FB is mentioned it refers to a 1st gen. and so forth. 79 and 80 were SA, dont know why. But ive heard that all 1st gens had an SA number in japan.
