did anyone try to contact the producers of "tuner transformation", "autorotica" or that other show where the same host can be found in dream car garage?

I'm pretty sure they are canadian producers and in need of technical help specially when it comes to rotary.....remember rx8 with 35 shot of NOS and *** shots on the side of the car

Speed Channel should at least do the history of the Rotary engine. It goes deeper than the FB RX-7. R-100's,rx-2,rx-3,rx-4,cosmo. The 20b, 26b engine. Renesis, RX-8. Hell, renesis engine was engine of the year for 2003, and probably 2004. The 88(dunno which one, got Import Car of the Year). Speed Channel knows about the rotary, from Lemans(787B).

Who knows what happens, but they are catering to the public, but rotorheads, and rotary engines will always survive. As long as there is somebody working in there garage on there Rotar Powered Vehicle, it will never die

Thanks

<span style='font-size:15pt;line-height:100%'>UPDATE!</span>

The thread has been removed by Speed Channel, but I have been contacted with what is hopefully a way to get someone to show interest in featuring the event.

I'll keep everyone informed on what transpires.

Thanks again to everyone who posted on their forum.

well i mean, if your thinking of puting a huge event on your tv station would you be more inclined to check it out if there were 200 registered cars or say a couple thousand people? (just given numbers)

I'm sure fans in the stands would not hurt, but I have watched many a show on their where they cover car events with only 60 vehicles in attendance.

It's really not about the # of people at the event, but about how much advertising they can sell because of the # of TV viewers the event should bring.

And I think covering an event as exciting as this if done properly would bring a lot of viewers (at least more than Tuner Transformation does).
