Well, in all fairness, groundskeeping, at least at a multi-family, is the landlord's responsibility. A lot of landlords will give you a deal on the rent if you mow / shovel / rake.

wtf? how does that apply to this convo?

Ontario isn't too much unlike BC's scene, less the uncared-for-yard part.

People don't mow their lawn on purpose, because "they rent". It's assinine

Sorry, was more of a reply to ^^

I feel your pain Scott, Jamie was renting the Prima House from me when he fell off the wagon, I got stuck with 3 months rent and he stole a lot of my personal property in the garage.

I sold that house for a 40K loss on its way down, I am sure the "investor" that bought it from me lost another 40K on it.

BTW- he is 1 year into a 3 year jail term, he really fell off the wagon hard. It was sad to see him self destruct and destroy his relationship with everyone around him.

I'm not touching that one Jim (jamie that is).

Anyhow, the renters moved out, place was ******* filthy, prolly take us a week to get cleaned up. There wasn't a lot of damage, nothing major just the usual stuff, so I am going to spend the rest of the week getting it cleaned up, although I'm dealing with a migraine right now ( I get one about every year or so) so I dunno we'll see if i get the full blown migraine or fight it off.
