Ok, I got the whole shebang going now. I got the game and the wheel today. I've already got a 7.1 Klipsch surround sound system with all the encoders you can imagine with optical input. 65" widescreen Hi-Def Sony with component inputs. It took about 15 minutes to get everything hooked up and ready to do (had to find a suitable table and chair for the wheel.) I just now finished the Sunday Cup with my RX-7 (I imported credits with the import feature from my old game for the 100k limit.) Things to know about the game: 1. The wheel is a defining point for the game, period. Buy the wheel if you want fun. 2. This is the first racing game ever where I was disappointed that the race was over. I wanted to keep going! It's very breathtaking with the 7.1 system booming all around me and the high def putting all of the visuals out at 1080i resolution. I give this game a 9.5/10 without the wheel and a perfect 10/10 with it. It's worth the wait and the money.

i didn't post last night due to this game, but now I'm at work, and I can say I'm very impressed with it. Graphics of the cars is up a great deal, from rivits, to kill switches on the race cars, it's all there.
Sound is very impressive, I got the re-ameya (sp?) stage 5 turbo kit and the thing spools so loud you can barely hear the roar of the car from under it. Drove the fc with stock catback, (quiet) to racing exhaust (loud and obnoxious) .
What impressed me most by the game is the "feel" of the car. When you get a car setup right, or you get a race car that is already setup well. The thing just feels like it's on rails. You put a tire up on the corner bumper and it sounds real, the car even settles back down realisticly once coming back off of it.
Some of the courses are just awesome, and so much more realistic. Not just the 12 lane wide highway-type races, but now there's windy narrow circuits that cut through hills in the middle of nowhere. they even have gykema or however it's spelled.
The wind noise at speed is great, and you really do get the sensation of speed, I think partially due to the fact that the coursees are so much more accurate.
I can't wait till 5 o'clock today
btw I got the falken drift fc from winning the turbo series of races. Can't wait to drive it tonight.

Yea, if you read the back of the case, it doesn't mention it. I'd hardly consider GT4 "Online Ready" if it means looking up how to play it online through a "trick" in a magazine.
Ahh yea, I forgot that other big point: Slow cars feel faster.
I was driving a bunch of "B" (Think GT3) level cars. You know, all the Vtec Honda's. (friend who was with me likes em a lot) It actually wasn't that bad. Be it because of the wind noise they put in, the hard shakes if you hit someone, or whatever...it just felt a bit faster than the same cars/HP range in GT3.
