I bought the Logitech Driving Force Pro on Sunday...which is the one specifically made for GT4. I have been playing GT3 on it the past few nights and here are some of my impressions.
-Build Quality is VERY nice. I have heard that these things can take a beating and keep on ticking...so far, so good!
-The features of this wheel are very nice...all the buttons you'll need are right on the wheel and can be programmed (depending on the game) for different purposes.
-Pedals have a non-slip system, where you press this little tab (if using on carpet) and some sort of spike strip comes out and prevents the pedals from slip n' sliding...Definitely Works!
-Setup is a BREEZE. Just plug it into USB port and you're good to go...(Hint: Make sure you are not holding onto the Wheel when you plug it in...it WILL take you for a ride...lol)
-Force Feedback has great feel and is very realistic, but takes some getting used to.
-Logitech's Customer support is second to none! If you have a problem or if something is wrong with the unit...call them up, if its bad and under warranty...they will send you a new one for free, without having to send back the broke one!
-There are 2 force feedback settings- 60% and 100%
-200 degree steering mode and 900 degree mode
-Paddle shifters as well as Sequential Manual Shifter
-Response is Very good once you get used to how each car handles (yes, each car is different). If you treat your car like a smooth racecar...you will go much faster...
-Rally is much more fun! Drifting is right up there!
Hmm...I guess that's about it for first impressions...I'm sure I'll have more once I play GT4 with it tomorrow!
I plan on building a racing seat setup of some sort once I find some time. You definitely need to hook this thing on to something sturdy. They make a lap adaptor, but to me that's just nonsense!
To me, it's worth the 150 bucks if it makes an already amazing game that much better!

I'm waiting for GT to introduce clutch pedal simulation...that would be the most badass setup IMO. A chair constructed like a driver's seat. They exist, but not with a clutch pedal.
Does BB have this in stock today? On their site it still says "preorder."
