For me launching at 6500rpm is just warming the motor up (figure of speaking) and breaking things, too easy and for me street racing is for stupid people.

What the hell are you going to do if something goes wrong and what about the car with the family in it that your about to hit at 100mph...

Dude street racing

That's cool to feel that way that things can happen and go out of control.I guess I take my own risk but it could also happen on a track.Racing period is unsafe.

but at a track you won't run into a minivan full of kids. the only people at the track are there because they want to watch/participate in races, not because they have to pick something up from the store.

I know some of you don't like 4 rotor rocket or whatever, but you guys can't honestly sit there and say that you never street race.

I mean if no one street raced on this forum then what is the reason in modding our cars?? Tyresmoking7 has a dedicated drag car and that's one thing. But you guys are acting like there is no reason to mod your car if you do not profesionally race. I mean drag racing actually started from street racing back in the 30's-40's. When people saw profit in it.

I know it is unsafe to other drivers and keeping your morals straight is one thing, but let's not try to be hypicritcal.

Especially kevin

There's not to many cars full of little kids at 1:00-4:00 in the morning.People at the spot are there to watch and race also, there's very little traffic out on these roads.

I don't.

I've had people in Z06's pull up beside me on the highway wanting to race and I don't.

You want to race me you pay the track entry fee and go for it.

ill admit i street race maybe once every month or so only if its someone i know whos got a car that might be a challange but i go to an old busted industrial area near by. i still hit the spots ur talking about but i dont race there just watch, there are a lot of people watching and u wouldnt think it is too dangerous until the car nest to u hits a pothole at 80 powershifting and kills some innocents, then ur the accomplice, run and hope no one knew u or got ur plate, or stay and help but face jail time. heh i dont like the idea of that but i dont mind being one of the innocents.... hey if i get hit it would be a better way to go out than butt f*cked to death in a jail house shower by Big Joey.

i see where ur comin from 4rotor i think a lot of people did the same **** that ur doin now just we all grow out of it at one point of another. until then be safe and dont kill nobody
