I know I have to use it, I wanted to know if Tivo turned the box on to change the channel. It changes the channel for me when the box is already on, but I cant figure out if it will turn the box on itself.

 

These Tivo's rule. I have 2 Tivo's in my house (Directivo's actually....they are direct tv boxes with Tivo built in). Anyway my living room tivo has 2 120gig drives in it for a total of around 220hrs of recording. My other tivo in my room has 2 35 gig drives in it....around 65 hrs of recording.



I also have my room Tivo setup with a Ethernet card that you can buy online....its pretty neat...I run a small FTP server and Httpd server on it....don't ask why....Im just a geek like that!

 

ha, sounds good, like I said, a good cheap toy to keep me occupied during these winter months!
