ok we put a pipe in between the uim and the afm on my buddies intake and when we went to start the car it rolled over and then died so now we have to rev it up a bit to get it going any idea what causes this and if its a bad thing?

sounds like you have an air leak, recheck the connections? or did you take the afm out? if so did you plug the connector back in?

 

ok afm is hooked up and couldnt find any air leaks other than one possibility

the lil hose going into the stock intake we took off and put one of those lil breather filters on it and i was wondering if maybe that has to be in the pipe or what to do with it i dont even know what it does



it goes from the stock intake pipe to a metal pipe thats behind the uim



any ideas as to whats up here and what the hell does that little hose do?
