Walmart is going to push big on the hd stuff... supposedly, circuit city already older hd-dvd titles at $13.99.

A movie produced in 1984 and put on hd-dvd doesn't make it "new" it's still an older movie. That would be like saying episodes of MASH are "new" cause you got a new TV.

Oh i also wanted to note that the hd-dvd's come with dvd format on the flip side... so if you are on the fence and wanna buy a new dvd you can go ahead an buy the hd version... btw this is not the case with blue ray

Good to know. I am going to look into one when I run into some extra cash.



Does the HDMI give a better picture and sound over the Component Video?? That's my only small concern
