Are the bylaws set up to confirm with "Roberts Rules of Order". Most organizations do. If so get a copy, become familiar with it and hound them to death on proper procedure. Take a set to your lawyer and have him comb it. Be up front and don't slander the board members. Arrive with your Coalition Forces and KICK ***!

Huh? Where do I find info on that LOL

I have been unable to really find any legal info regarding homeowners associations, at least nothing telling me what they can and cannot legally do.

we had a similar situation with the city a few months ago, and basically your "property" includes not only the physical space but the use of the land as well, as long as it does not injure you neighbors. injury is basically impeding the neighbors proprty rights, or health hazards, it is NOT you parking your car at 10pm. unless you signed something, they are violating your property rights

Well I signed to the original CCR's which contained no such rules, the CCR's allowed them elect board members and they were supposed to notify me, but never did, these boardmembers made the rules.

oh ok if they never notified you, this is a very simple deal. is there someplace where the rules are posted, or available?

The original set was given to me when I moved in, the latest ones were mailed to me. Just last month they started sending me the "minutes" from the meetings telling me they had taken place a week ago at 4:30 pm on a work night.
