94Touring, you came from a Land Surveying background, you should be used to being around criminals in every shape and form.
One of the guys that worked for me just went to jail... again.. for 3 more years when he was 3 months from being done with a 3 year sentence, he skipped out on his parole, 1/2 way house.

I was just happy that these guys showed up every day, I didn't even want to know about their criminal past. LOL!
