I am glad that everyone has said the same thing. Turns out one of the guys I worked with was in the NAVY. I had already been looking up to him since I considered him to be the smartest of all the engineers. Everyone I have talked to said it has been the greatest thing in their life. Right now with all that I have heard I am 99% sure I am going to do this. ONe more question though!!!! What did yall do with your seven while in the military??

I'm sure he is the smartest engineer. The military likes to get intelligent people to enlist. Intelligent, highly motivated types go as far as they want to go if they apply themselves.

I shipped out at the end of summer after I graduated. I wanted to have one last summer of fun. I had a '79 Dodge Aspen at the time so I just dumped it. Hey, don't judge me harshly. I didn't know jack about cars then and it was the midwest so there weren't too many cars aside from domestics. Plus, a car from '79 wasn't that old back then.

Whatever branch you go into, you'll be a better you when you get out.

you 7 will be a p.o.v private owned vehic... what you do is after boot camp and A school...well actually in a school you can bring your car with you and the military will transport it for you to someplaces or they will pay you extra money to move if you are going to do it yourself...what you do is when your in A school find your transportaion officer and they will tell you how to move your car.

To be honest I started looking into the airforce but I can't figure out what they actually do. I know they fly planes but what does an enlisted person do?

They sit around and wait for someone higher in the food chain to retire or die so they can advance. Air Force has the slowest advancement of any of the services. Plus the Air FARCE likes to deceive Congress. When the AF builds a base they go in , build the housing, rec centers, clubs and hobby shops. Then they run back to congress and say OOPS WE forgot to build the runways!!!!
