yeah, I've had 2 cheapo rainsuits before. Now I can only find the tops of both, but the bottoms of neither. And I still haven't figured out how to keep my feet dry on the motorcycle. The smartest the I've done was put shoes and socks in my backpack, and wear sandles while driving.

My dad just bought a kayak. I think it's going to come in handy pretty soon...

Go to a military surplus place and get ICBs, Marine infantry combat boots. They're breathable but very waterproof, got a Gore-tex mesh.

Hm... They wouldn't go over, if you got the new rough side out boots they might match khakis better--but as long as we're talking military the chemical protective overgarment has rubber overboots, might be able to pick those up at a store.

Or you could just keep an extra set of shoes and socks in your backpack I do that too, when I'm riding my bicycle.
