Financing My Fd
If I were buying a used car, I would want to own it on the spot, or have all of the cash. Loans are ok, but just seem trouble to me. I am glad I did not take a loan out and waited to buy my FC. Although a FD that runs and in good condition is 10k plus.
I would not really worry about the payments. You can easily handle that, just the insurance is the pain in the ***. And 350 bucks is probably for the least amount of coverage. If you want high coverage, your quote would be like 8 grand for a full year through some companies. I was actually quoted that for FULL coverage on my FC. A 16 year old car, for about 8 grand I was quoted. Insurance is crazy, but is a big pay off in the end, if it is not your fault.
Good Luck

The insurance will be like it was on my mustang, full coverage with my dad as the primary and me secondary. Wish i could find a buy-here pay here with a nice FD....ya right.

I got mine @ 19 by letting the bank take out a loan on my car...they hold the title...I get a new car. of course that wont work if you dont have a car right now.
i know it is as far as a logical sense, damn tempramental fds lol. Its a dream i am sick of not realizing, i want my fd. Stop trying to talk me out of it and help me go broke :P
The best banks are the credit unions. I still have my credit union back in NC, but have bank of america out here, and they really suck when compared. Only car i've ever financed was my 1970 mini, which was for 18.5k. Credit union had no problem financing me for that much on a car that old, just had to get it appraised to prove the value.
So i need to find out how to get into a credit union, what "in" do i have.....hmm
Where could i find a list of credit unions in south NJ and they're requirements? I live in Cumberland County to be specific...
