No. Yes. Jeep/van are readily available to me.

I'm applied for some "first time buyer/bad credit" loans just now also.

one other thing you should look at is how much interest your going to be paying. cause if the car cost 10k and you pay 5k in interest...its not worth it....i first tried buying a car on my own with no credit...and they were tellign me 15% interesting...which is bs...my uncle co signed and its 3% interest

yeah, that is insane...you may just want to build some credit...or maybe another family member will cosign...maybe a grandparent or something like that?...its just not worth spending that much on interest. You could always look into getting a personal loan...buy a beater and a project fd

i already have a project 7, but fd's are where my interest truely lies. Of course, i did have some good times in the FC before it blew up. Dont really have another cosigner, ill check out some no credit personal loans too.

when i got my loan for my FD which was $11.5k. i tried with myself and got approved.... i was 18.... how i have no idea. i think working at the same job for a few years helps. i tried with my parents and got denied!!!! anyway. i had to put $1k down on insurance. pay $700 in sales tax. it all adds up. unless you have lots of money to burn a FD is not a good idea for a 19 year old. i know i spent $40k very fast on it!!!! learned alot with the car though
