i understand completely about just wanting to drive the car.

4 months is totally unacceptable.

it is NOT a part of the "parts buying process"

this guy is doing shitty business and everyone is trying to defend him..

i had an issue with slava as well concerning an order placed that was supposed to have been in stock....

got the charge the day of the order with promise of a tracking number...

unreasonable time elapsed and found that it was in fact in backorder since the day of the order and was never in stock...

needless to say i cancelled as the interest was accruing on an item i didnt have...

one of the other fellas apologized for the delay and provided me with a "get out of jail free card...err....get free shipping on the next order card...

of which i have yet to claim....

I assume you expect everyone to either not post that they have good experiences, or post bitches, but if they post that they had a good experience it must because it's a forum sponsor? BULLSHIT

I know you haven't been here very long (you fill in the next comment), but sponsors are just that, they pay to advertise on the site, they don't own it, they don't run it. I have always left vendor feedback topics open for comment, it serves purpose to community, but anyone is allowed to reply on the topic, even people with good experiences, I have even booted sponsors because they mistreated forum members or ripped them off.

It quite honestly doesn't, I have no stock in the situation except A) They are an advertiser and B) you are a member. This topic is more than welcome here, what I was trying to address was s13srmadness's comment about you not getting honest answers because he is a sponsor. I quite clearly said, unless he can't read that "You deserve an answer"

Do I think suing someone because they haven't delivered your parts in the time promised is effective? No, will cost you more to sue the retailer then the part cost in the first place even if you go small claims and you will quite honestly very rarely collect anything from a small claims settlement. Only thing it will do is kill any chance you have of getting anything from the vendor.

It just pisses me off someone comes in here, has no clue how this place runs and is pointing fingers... just because it works that way elsewhere doesn't mean it works that way here.
