i have done it so many times. you will wear down your rear pads a little. if your clutch isn't strong it will slip!

 

you do not need line-lock to do that.....wheel hop is not really experienced in the fd, mine at least, until the tires HAVE gotten warned, and the car is in a forward motion.....

True, I've done it too, but on the vid there was no brake lights untill the end

 

You let off the clutch and feather the brake with your foot and just let it bounce on the rev limiter.



Thats the way It was described to me. I dont smoke tires water or not. They cost to much. LOL

 

the way i do a burnout left foot on clutch. right foot mashed on brake. hell on brake pedal. toes on gas pedal. rev to around 7000 rpm. drop clutch. mash gas pedal and brake pedal with right foot.... try to keep the rpm steady around 7000rpm. wait till you see smoke coming past the door then let off the brake and mash the gas pedal :bigthumg:
