I tried, I failed. How the hell does one do it exactly?

I was told to heal to toe the gas and brake, that tells me nothing.

I cant get my fat feet to work both pedals.

WTF?

I need to learn this someone please explin it to me.

With street tires, doing huge burnouts is almost pointless. However,

Try this:

1)Rev to 4K (or higher if you want, I go higher but i'm a crazy bastard)

2)dump clutch (at this point, keep in the gas hard. you should start to spin the **** out of the tires. If you launch forward, you need to drop it with more gas)

3)If you want, jump onto the brakes with your left foot. This will keep you from lurching forward after you dump the clutch. Don't worry about your brakes, it is not that hard on them. Remember to keep your revs up during all this.

Now, as I said before, doing big burnouts on street tires is counterproductive. I just spin them for a few seconds to clean the tire, and get a fresh surface for launching.

Thanks for the advice bobby.

You aint crazy btw. I dump my clutch at 6k all the time. I just have never thought t o get on the brakes right after doing that.

Anyway I am running on nitto drag radials not street tires.

I will throw my old wheels on for the day.

The same applies for these.

I would burnout until you can see smoke rolling out of the wheelwells.

Acording to SCC, the dragradials rubber marblizes during a very long burnout, creating bad traction. These tires will heat up fast enough with a good medium burnout like mentioned above.

I make sure the back wheels are in water then drop the clutch at about 6000rpm and hit 1st then 2nd then foot on the breaks keeping the revs above 6500-7000 for about 5 seconds. There warm enough for me.
