this is my dumb question for the day. how do I launch? I have to have some break on, cause none of the roads around here are flat, I have to have the cluctch and the gas in, and heres the problem, I only have two legs, crazy I know. do I use the E brake? if so, wont that be hard to get off when the light turns?

haha yeah side step the brake and clutch, put your heel on the brake pedal and the top of your foot on the clutch. you could do the brake and gas too. it also makes you shift faster if you have light up pedals, or ones that are made of "carbon Fiber" you can pick these up in the ricer section of your auto parts store

there are two sections of roads I know of arround here that a car wont roll down without a brake on, and those have cops every three feet, there are lots of cool twisty roads here though. side steping the brake and gas, I could probably do that, kinda like with "heel-toe" downshifting?

so light up pedals? will it help if I "double cluch" too? hehehe

Alot of the people I see at the drags think it is a burn out contest. This gets you nowhere fast and is real tough on your tires. HiRPM launches are great if you have traction. Otherwise you are better off to practice and leave the line with the most traction. If you motor bogs, fine... use the RPM but feather the clutch to get the best start possible.

The Rice Boys seem to think the more smoke at the start the faster they will be.

where i live we got tons of hills but what i have done was if u let out the clutch at a certain place it will keep the car in place but i dont do that anymore cuz it kinda gets annoying after stalling out trying to start on a steep hill from a stop
