No idea. I just have a hard time understanding why some people just come here to start ****. There was actually come constructive conversation going on... But people like to argue and fight more than actually post facts or proof...

Fact of the matter is... And I think the majority of us can agree.....

Turbo Timers are not needed, and an engine that "COKES" oil in the passages, or anywhere for that matter, was not propery cared for. Use better oil... Problem solved.

And the EGT has nothing to do with water temperature. NOTHING.

My bad-partly my fault. But like threads ever stay on topic - if they do here, it's the only place. Yall r still using that ghey ****? That's so '02. Newayz, enough of that. I'll reply and then shut it down (for me) on this thread.

I didn't come here to start nuthin. I like rotaries in general, FDs and FCs in particular, and found this site thru a search. I was enjoying myself initially. I did get involved in personal attacks which I shouldn't have. Like I said, I ain't been taking my full dose of Prozac and Aleve, only about eight of each a day. So I'm crabby. Sue me.

I don't claim to be an expert, I only post on subjects I know something (not EVERYTHING) about. Now, 9base3, what the hell am I missing? EGTs and water temps are not at all related? So you're saying that water is heated by something other than combustion?

And where was sumthin constructive going on? The reason I decided to stick my narrow white *** in here is that people who go out of their way to flame rice to look cool and fit in are great for me to poop on. That's how most of the thread struck me. I didn't come out and say YOU ALL ARE GREAT FOR ME TO POOP ON, or try to make anybody look like a fool.

For real tho, the anti-rice movement is getting about as lame as rice itself.

Last note on the timer, do yall agree that it makes sense to let the engine idle on start up for a few before taking off? To me, it logically makes sense to do the same before shutting it off. You can either do that manually or buy a timer, and since they now come with other useful features such as a/f meters and lap timers etc I think it's at least flame resistant.

BTW - I'm not trying to make myself fell better, I don't have one on my NA car. Out.
