Whats up with the ricers pointing their exhausts out to the side. Everytime I see one I ask the driver, hey does that make you go faster and they dont respond to me.



Can someone please clear this question up for me.

My educated guess would be that most jap FWD cars have a muffler that run parallel with the rear bumper, with 2 90 degree pipes at each end. One is the inlet and one is the tailpipe. so I'm going to say angling the muffler is the only way to make it fit in that space

 

He is right you cant fit much of a fart pipe with those 2 90 degree bends
