did not know where else to post this

I did not like the ricey look of the fart can muffler so I had it changed today.

Only problem now is I want to put another one on the other side of the car!

I think I will give it a dual with a x-pipe after the summer.

I love the look of my racingbeat mufflers and this new muffler looks like a racing beat.

any opinions?

please forgive the crappy night time picture and keep in mind I wanted a more subdued look and try to avoid johnny law and having every kid in his civic trying to race me

Im going to have to try to duplicate the old photo to better determine which one I like

It looks good. Although it isn't a race if you don't take the bait......why waste your gas on a civic? I do know it is a tempting & easy kill, but not worth it!

I've been thinking about doing that. Either buy the Y pipe and use borla cannisters or buy the whole catback and change out the tips (not a fan of the flared racing beat tips).

I don't care for the muffler sitting vertical like that. Just doesn't look right to my eye. The shop that put my Borla XR-1 in did a great job and tucked it in there horizontally and it fits quite nicely. True the Borla is more oval, where that muffler is more rectangular.

I'm sure it would sound very nice with a straight-thru exhaust!

the magnaflow is the same shape as the racingbeat, which I consider to be one of the best looking and sounding mufflers for a rotary engine.

I wont modify a racingbeat dual for numerous reasons- its a waste of money first of all, that dual aint cheap, second the RB mufflers dont sound good on a piston engine, and I have KOOKS do all my work, thier work is perfect, they can do a X-pipe coming off the headers in the perfect location for the x-pipe, and can run the exaust exactly as I want it too.

Why would I cut up a $700 racingbeat exaust that has exaust coming out the passenger side when a V8 has both sides of the engine compartment? There would be nothing left of the exaust by the time they chop-suey it.

And Kooks can run me whatever size pipe I need and they know exactly what to put in the car for the engine.

in this pic of the racingbeat you can see how it almost mirrors the magnaflow, besides sounding better with a V8, its half the price of the racingbeat units:

I like it, it fits right in there. I used the tip from an F-350 diesel appearance package on my Magnaflow.
