ok how much would i have to pay a mechanic to convert the car to RWD would you guys assume?? or is the turboII tranny FWD...

A FWD TII.. no.. it's RWD. Not sure how much the convert would be though..

i would *figure* thats the largest rotary engine, so just think all the others are smaller for size references lol

NOOOOOO! All wrong. The 787b a lemans race car, not an engine. The R26B was the engine in it. There was also a 787a but the 787b won in 1991 then in 1992 the rotarys were banned from the lemans.

while I am a fan of anyone wanting to do something cool and

custom, a VW Fox is such a worthless and un attractive disposable car,

why bother? Do a bug instead if your into VWs, at least its RWD already.

here is a pic of a very nice condition 92 GTI model, this is one case where a pic is actually better looking then the car is in person.

But think of the money he will save with not worry about scratches, body interiro etc. I see your point though rob, I peronsally would never do it, for the reason you stated.
