ok, i plan to put a rotary engine of some sort into my 2-door 92 VW fox. So i was wondering what you guys think the most powerful rotary engine that i can fit into the engine bay would be. And also, is there a FWD transmission available that i can use in the car as well? if not, i guess ill have to convert my fox to RWD, if i think its worth the cost.. :bigthumg:

4 rotors are the most powerful I'm guessing.. next are 3 rotors (20B's), then the 2 rotors (13B's).. there was just a thread posted about engine sizes.. In a VW.. my guess is to just go with the 13B from a 2nd gen. Maybe a TII engine.. I'm not too sure about the switch from FWD to RWD though and all that stuff..

No, just get a 7 or at least drop the rotary in a mini, i've considered that before, but if you're bound and determined to do it get a 13B RE i believe that's what you want, it's between and turboII and a 3rd gen engine. You would want to make it RWD and use a turboII tranny, and rear end if possible. But if I had that kind of money i would just get a 7

Actually the 13B RE would be over the FD engine as it has even larger ports for the Cosmo.
