[quote name='venomrx7' date='Jul 14 2005, 06:35 PM']you're getting RAPED. I paid less than that when I had my truck and my rx insured.
2003 Toyota tundra trd off road v8 (only way it would have been more expensive for insurance is if it was 4x4)
1990 Rx7 VERT... the vert part made it even higher.
and i was still paying less than that. I think its time that you shopped around for insurance...

253 a month for the Jeep. Oh yeah, what now biotch!
****, I was paying 288 a month for my 88 RX-7.
Cletus- It is also an unsafe car. It only has one ******' airbag and seatbelts. Not much gonna help you when you get into an accident. Honestly, an FD is not worth that much money a month JUST for insurance.

LOL, I know, my record sucks 'cause my right foot weights a ton!
I pay $3000 every six months!
Someday though, maybe I can pay a down to earth price for auto insurance, and i'll spare the rest of you the sermon on how poor driving practices can haunt you for quite some time...

If I had to pay that kinda money on insurance I'd buy an old piece of **** econobox to get me from A to B with half coverage and call it a day. Even when I was 20 when I bought my first FD in North Carolina, I was paying about $1200 a year full coverage. Then when I moved to Oklahoma when I was 23 it went up to 2k a year because its Oklahoma. Which is 50% why I sold that car. Then when I turned 25 and got married the insurance went down to $600 a year. That is however with special use insurance because I drive it under 7k miles a year and have other cars to drive.
On my 3 cars I pay roughly $1700 a year with full coverage through State Farm. I had the blue mini appraised at 18k and insured for that amount in case something bad were to happen. I will probably do the same for the pickup once I'm done restoring it.
I feel for you younger guys. If insurance cost you $700 a month its probably a good idea to forget driving something nice for awhile and concentrate on getting through school, saving as much money as you can, getting out and getting a good job just in time to be old enough to buy something nice with lower rates.

is your truck payed off yet? you will always need full coverage until you have the title in hand.
but that is a REALLY good rate, considering you have a new car on that quote.
