Yeah I sold my Blackberry last month. It went for $212.50. Not bad since I was only wanting $150 out of it, and only had $90 in it.

Then I bought a grill for my 626 turbo for like $10, and Mac OSX Tiger for $30. I know Jaguar is coming out in late October, but I need Tiger sooner. Bought an iPod touch for the wife and need Tiger to run it. Besides, the store is going to give me $30 credit when I buy Jaguar, so its free!!

Hey! You got a 626 turbo? What year? I drove a '89 626 with the 2.2-liter for like a million years. It was a great car--my first new car. I think that 2.2 was one hell of an underrated motor. Good power, great fuel economy, and dependable. I test drove the turbo way back when, but I couldn't afford the extra bux. Very impressive for that era. I should buy one now, since they're bound to be super cheap, if I could find a decent one.

But yeah, ebay rocks if you got stuff to sell. It's one hell of an efficient market, and it works, if you can steer clear of the douchebags.

I got the 626 turbo from a friend of mine who got it from his dad who bought it new in 1989. It has 270,000 on it and runs like a bitch in heat. Best part, $200. He needed to get it out of his garage since he hadn't driven it since he graduated from college, and bought a motorcycle. It needed a brake master cylinder, PS hoses, and to be a little de-riced.

Yeah, it is actually fast. More horsepower than an NA and more torque than any rotary. AND, for the year model, it has ALOT of toys not found in comparable cars today.

-AAS- 3 way adjustable, and it works

-4 wheel ABS

-4 wheel disc

-Power everything

-8 way adjustable seat

-the vents 'swing' back and forth

I daily drive a 99 Millenia, but this is a fun toy. I plan on getting a Probinator chip, custom make a 2.5" DP and exhaust system, and get better IC hoses. That alone, along with a TII or FD fuel pump will allow 16psi, and 200+ hp to the wheels!!

I dropped my phone in the drink again and att or cingular whatever the **** they are this week won't give me another. So pretty much only option is enbay for an unlocked phone. I buy the thing and upgrade to 2nd day air... this is monday. Yesterday I get an email saying it shipped....... Ground, so I paid $27 and they are gicing me **** on a refund. I pretty much figure u buy on ebay yer flushing yer money.

I think the only bigger scam going is the democratic party.
I always buy the insurance for my phone, so far it's been worth it. I smashed one phone when I was walking and bumped against a cement pylon outside a store, then the next one fell out of my pocket on the motorcycle, then the next one got dropped and stopped working.

Remember that post I put up about my new Motorola Q? I broke it yesterday, no idea how. I just picked it up off the counter, and the screen is cracked to hell.

The only time the insurance let me down was that 3rd time, they no longer made the phone I had, so they gave me a cheap-*** piece of ****, nowhere near comparable to the phone I had.

i have saved so much money from there. and found parts where i could never find anywhere else. to me, its worth the risk...

im an Ebay-er, through and through...

(ps...never use money orders, pay pal will back you up always)

You have other options, on PSL Blvd there is a used cel phone resale store, phones go for pretty cheap and there are no contracts.

If your ever really in a pinch I have 2 cingular phones sitting in my office. Feel free to stop by and take one.

Also, Verizon just came out with a waterproof phone, I have heard nothing but good things about it in the real world. One guy dropped his in a bucket of caustic solvent, took it out rinsed it off, and it was fine. Its called the G'Zone.

Maybe one of those with a key buoys attached to the phone?
