I got to romp on an fd w/ 25k on it today, for about 20 minutes. I really tested everything about the car, and damn; I'm in love!

I hate to say it, but damn Fds are superior to fcs in almost everyway.

They handle so much better, much better interior/body. A ton faster than an FC, better motor and compenonents, minus the clutterness.. But hey I thats not a big deal at all, that all can be taken care of. Oh did i mention how sexy they are? God I could sit at stare at that car all day... And for a reference, his son, by buddy TII77, has an 89' fc w/ 27k on it. And we did a ton of spirited driving, doing about 3x the speed limit through some twisties..

Shhhhh!!! My FC thinks its an FD. Actually once you "fix" the design flaws of the FC with a better suspension they handle every bit as good as an FD.

Addmittedly though I jumped in my dads FD at an Autocross once and ran a time within 1 second of my FC. Thats what made me decide to work some more on my FC's suspension. i.e. new softer springs.

I like FD's a lot I should have just fixed one up for the money I spent on my FC but I love my TII too much. I could not get rid of it and buy and FD. Plus everyone expects an FD to be fast when a FC is really fast it suprises everyone, I like that suprise element a lot.

its easy to say one or the other if youve only had either one..

and havent had real world experience ownin each..

one can provide a better grasp and understanding of which is better...

but it all goes down to preference.. and its all subjective anyway..

imho they both hold their own...

Yea I can't give up me t2, but I think down the road I might want one for a DD. I agree amp, everyone usually always wants what they don't have.

When I drove the FD that I almost bought, I wasn't impressed. I didn't like how small it was on the inside. I am used to driving around a 91 MR2, and the FD felt smaller. I just don't like small cars (like Miata's). The TII just feels better, plus its faster.
