Differential Calculus
Diff calc is easy. You really have to get the right book. I don't remember the author of the book I used but the title is "Differential Calc. and Bondary Value Problems." If you skim the book and take notes on all the different techniques, you can actually come up with simple procedures...
That said, if you get to thinks like Complex Variable Diff. Calc. and Greens Theorm of Diff Calc (note. NOT GREEN'S INTEGRAL THEORM) then you're in big doo doo...

Thanks. Now I just need to join the FSAE team so I can talk them into letting me drive that beast of a go kart they have. With all the time they spend on that car, they spend about 1% of it actually dialing it in with track time before the competition. Argh. I tell them that seat time and setup / tires wins autocrosses but they are engineers, not pro race teams, so they haven't seen the local VW GTI beat FDs (excellent drivers / tires on each car).
