Ahhh, that's bull ****, that is some guy that is just jellous because he couldn't afford an MKIV . And still better than both of those motors is the RB26, which I have wet dreams about every night because it has so much potintial and can be tuned to such high horse power, or that is what I have heard. But I want one to find out. And an RB26 is the Nissan Skyline motor.

dang I have the picture you are talking about, but I can't publish it to the web.

Personally I think that any engine piston engine in any rotary car is pointless. For the money that had to be spent on that swap, you could have easily gotten a 13b and reliably modded it. I think you are an idiot with too much money to throw around.

Second, as to this guy trying to be different I think he is not being different at all. Bye haveing a piston engine in an RX7 he is following the crowd of piston loving "DOHC" " no replacement for dicplacemnt" crowd. Fact is that as far as cars and engines are concerned rotary owners and enthusiasts are the vast majority. And it keeps getting harder and harder to find a 7 in good shape. And people like you that put any other engine than rotary are robbing us of the thing we love most about our cars.

Third i think people that threaten to beat up people over the internet are just inscure about their size.

And finally I could take you all

PS that last comment was sarcasm for those of you who are humor inclined

lol.. I've been up 30 hrs strait prepping a engine and finishing up the rest of a car that I put together from basicly a chassie with wheels on it that got rolled in to the shop completly stripped (literally), Now I'm going to catch a couple hrs of sleep then get up and change the brake master on a FD, pull the front pipe off anouther FD and weld in a O2 bung so we can stick the wide band O2 sensor in it, then I'm going to build the engine I prepped last night, then I've got to drive a truck for about 45 min, hook up a tow bar and pull a car back to the shop.... and I just drove 1 1/2 hrs in the ******* rain to get to Mazda to order anouther 2k in engine parts to build my 20B and anouther customers engine that I'm doing next week..

I'm my own boss and my boss sucks! But I'm going to make enough $ one way or anouther to get my car from Okinawa to mainland Japan so I can get my *** to RX-7 day at Fugi Circuit and watch 1/2 Naked women drool over my car or else... Ah, and Getting Married in 3 weeks isn't helping the finacial situation at all...

And before I give Chris a Stroke.. (lol.. my names Chris as well by the way) Like I stated in my first post.. The SR is an excellent engine for drift, good tork and easy to contol but you need to invest in some rocker stoppers or the head will come apart and you'll be right back to where you started...

If you don't mind me asking how did those engines blow? ie. What kind of parts failures did you have and who built and tunned the engines?

for all you guys that love the 2jz or Rb26 so much, please note that the 6G72 will make more power mod for mod than either of those two engines. Its a retarded arguement anyway, if you want a 2jz, buy a supra.
