Drifters tend to have cheap ragged out cars (unless they are rich or sponsored like in D1) that they don't mind running in to **** and even if they are great and never crass just the frame twisting stress will distroy the car anyway, so they drift away... Here in Japan 6-7 years ago there were 86's every where you looked... Now your lucky to see one a week. Why? because the drifters killed all of them. I've always hatted the anoying 86's so that doesn't bother me... But don't be killing the 7's dammit.. reinforcer the chassie's and don't be hitten ****..

Drag racers on the other hand usually have thousands of $'s worth of parts sitting under their hoods. Plant the front end in to a guard rail and you've just lost a years paycheck and a ton of time and effort. Bent frames in drag cars also don't help out a lot with trying to hook up off the line as well due to weight transfer problems. We have to pay the ultimate attention to detail when putting together our engines to try and get that extra 10 hp that could push us .001 seconds faster than the other guy to win the race and get the bragging rights until the next race... We try not to distroy our cars because we love them and bond with them and we don't like to see other cars like our own dead because they were rapped or wrapped around a telephone pole..

It takes very little work or $ to get 300 hp in a 7 and rail the **** out of it with a long life expectancy if you know what your doing. The reason most drag racers are more uptight is because it take about 10 times as much $ and time to make 600+ hp and put it to the guy sitting next to you. This is part of the reason Ito and others don't like what you've done.. Your car with a 13B that was built right would drift and slide just fine if you'd just taken the time to just put in a good tunned engine and probably 1/4 the efforts you spent trying to put in your SR20...

PS. don't come bitching to us when you rev your car past 8,000 rpm and throw a valve or grenade your valve train while sliding your car around the track trying to impress your g/f.. we'll all say "see you should have keep a 13B in there"

Ok.. now you can bitch at me if you'd like...

and if drifting is for people with no dick, for ladies... how come you little homeboy vosko comes to our drift events and has a good time?
LMAO... Vosko's a HOMEBOY....

O' and I don't know about ITO's car, but I bet my Drag RX-7 will probably out handle your car by a group with a simple change of tires and a few clicks of the dampener adjustments on my suspension... and it goes fast as hell in a strait line as well... So, you can shove your last comment strait where the sun don't shine.. (up your *** for those that don't mind the profanity). Are you affraid of a little 1 on 1 compition to see who is the better driver and has the better car? Are you little girl...

PS.. Did I tell you all I love starting ****...

Well, in all fairness Dragon is one of the least uptight drag racers I've ever met. Nerves of steel as he's poking a stick into hornets nests. Come to think of it, most of the guys he runs with are pretty laid back most of the time. Strange but true.

Hmmm, who would've thunk it. Life isn't in black and white.

well if im not drag racing the car then why is he so pissed off, its not like its a v8 cranking 900hp. ive have alot of different setups over the years. and never thought i would do a piston motor, it was almost the last thing i thought i would ever do. and being that i change my car every few months, i thought it was time for something even more drastic.

i dont know if you remember me but i used to talk to you last year, we would play yahoo pool and talk on aim.

but i learned to drift and drifted up until a month ago on modified 13b's. i actually believe that the sr20 is a much better source for drifting, my car reacts much better than it used to on the 13bs. and it actually only took us 2 weeks to get it in, and in that we put in a ats 2 way diff, flt-a2's, new wheels and tires, longer wheel studs, and brake proportioning valves. so the swap itself would have taken a lil over a week. granted we were under a very tight deadline to finish for hyperfest, but it done and i love it, so thats that.

are you serious, ill do a drag/drift competition any day. what car does ito get to use, do you want to do this now with my stock turbo or wait till my hks 2835 comes in, cuz im lucky to be pushing 240rwhp right now. with the turbo i should be straight for 340rwhp. and its not gonna be a grip racing setup, it will only be drift since he says that drift is for ladies and guys with no dicks. but im all for it.
