One squirrel down, one to go. Subsonics in a .22 bolt action rifle. No louder than a pellet gun

**** i have a .22 bolt action that sounds like someone throwing those popits on the ground, you wouldn't know it's a rifle.

Great, isnt it? Its pretty quiet with normal .22 high velocity rounds, Ive never had to wear ear plugs. But the subsonic rounds avoid the sharp crack that goes with normal ammo, and out of a long barrel rifle, its quiet, like pellet gun quiet.

One of these days Ill get around to sending a form 1 into the atf, then I can use the pistols in the yard too...

Actually my dad totally restored the rifle, it was my favorite one growing up, no kick, no loud noise, fun bolt action. Anyhow he stripped EVERYTHING, stock, barrel, etc... then he re blued the metal and varnished the stock. I'll have to snap some photos.
