It has world class healthcare and one of the leading nations in resource conservation and has one of the best education systems in the world. the majority of cr citizens are land owners and they are one of the most technooligically advanced nations in south america, only 2 skirmishes mark costa rica's peaceful history.
Prostitution and gambling are legal, pot is decriminalized, they have both pacific and carribean beaches., population is over 4 million they are a democratic nation.

May - nov = rainy season (travel agents call it "green" season)
prices are cheaper, october is especially rainy.
they say its not a bad rain, once a day, warm rain for a bit. basically like florida. or at least everytime ive been to florida.
