There are a few companys that can get 99% od that data off your disks they are very exp thou. They do data reco for the gov and what not. And i say just buy a new drive and a new disk drive too. www.pricewatch.com that's a dealer site it lets you see the cheapest **** out there saves me tons when i build a new comp. If you need any help with either of the installs just post i'll see what i can do. good luck.

Oh i didnt know this was a laptop that went. Hum that coudl be tricky if you send me the make and model numbers i can see what i can find i'm sure i can come up with a drive. Even if you have to go to the manufactor of the drive you allready have. I can call some people from cali and see what they can come up with as well. As for putting it in it shoudl just slide right into place. I know a ton about desktops but i'm lost in the world of laptops at least hardware wise. Well let me know what i can do.

I have a HP Pavilion zt1150.. I'm going to try and use my buddys external Disk drive to see if I can fix my OS, but I dont know if it will work or not. My disk drive is a Sony model num CRX800. And my Hard drive is a Hitatchi model num DK23CA-20 Its a 20G HD.. I'd like to get a 40G if I could. If any one knows where I can get replacement parts let me know!! Thanks in advance.
