run adaware it scans for spyware, etc. Nice little program. Search on cnet for it. Its free.

I forget how you go about accessing services in win98, but it does sound like you are getting hacked through the messenger service.





Either that or its spyware, try out adaware as suggested above.

and I found out that if I block all cookies, I can't post...it's new to me

you need cookies to post otherwise phins will starve, save phins!
