I keep it simple, a Black & Mild works just fine. And a 5 pack is only like 2 bucks.

Damn you definately have a good taste then. I've heard that Punch's are supposed to be amazing cubans. As for the Cohibas the cubans that I have had were phenominal. Although mine were a robusto size, so while the ring size may be the same you'll probably have a much longer smoke. I wonder if I'll be able to smuggle in a box of Cubans at some point. I don't think I could actually do it, I would have a higher chance just keeping them in a bundle.

I have tried about twenty brands of Cubans and I think the Cohibas are definitely the best, but Punch is a close second. I may have said this earlier but, try the Playboy Signiture Series, they are custom blend Don Diegos and taste awesome. I bought them in the United Arab Emirates, but they are always advertised in Playboy as well.

If you think Black & Milds work just fine, you have no business posting on this topic.

thats good bc someone gave me one when i left my last job. my first cuban was found at a country club where i was working, those guys leave lots of good stuff on those carts. my friend and i smoked about half of it then left it for later but his brother found it and smoked the rest of it, oh well it wasnt all that great anyway. hopefully the cohiba will be better.

i used to be into cigars a lot more, but now when i smoke its almost always a pipe, tobacco of course. there are so many more options that way and it seems to have a greater effect, maybe from the alcohol in the flavoring. another thing that my friends and i started doing, which we havent done in a while, is roll up some joints with pipe tobacco. that will get you rollin! the guys i did it with smoked weed all the time and they were feeling it. plus it tastes good and smells good.

Pipe tobacco will definately hit you harder, one reason is a lot of people accidently inhale a little every time they puff off a pipe. I own one as well but haven't smoked it in a while. To me cigars seem to hold another world out there. Although pipe tobacco can be mixed and you can find certain types that you like, with cigars you have all sorts of blends from honduran, nicarguan, mexican, D.R., Jamacian, etc etc etc. And most cigars aren't made with 100% of D.R. tobacco if they're made in the D.R. they usually have maybe a mexican binder and longleaf honduran filler. Although the Ashtrel that I'm going to try today is 100% D.R. Ferrit while black & milds are good they kind of fall under the dipped category. Meaning their taste is consistent because they are dipped and thus you lose most of the tobacco's flavor. Hand made cigars are much more diverse than that, from year to year, box to box, they are different. Plus they can knock you on your *** a whole lot quicker than a Black and Mild.

Inhaling cigar or pipe tobacco poses a huge health risk. It contains many more tars than cigarettes ever will. Be careful on how often and how much you inhale.

edit: and inhaling doesn't allow you taste as much of the flavor and nuances of the cigar or tobacco. Letting it sit in your mouth and then slowly rolling it out will give you a lot more of the taste than inhaling.
