VR4- crappy tranny problems. I think a 3kgt board actually got mitsu to finally recall some.

GST/X- crankwalk sucks

Crankwalk is a 2nd gen problem and mostly just 95-96 but a few later models had the same problems. A 1st gen as well as a VR4 do not have any major motor problems, it is just the trannies in the AWD cars take alot of abuse with Mitsubishis setup. Nothing that cannot be fixed.

A Galant VR4 is hands down the best sleeper ever built.

The Caravan may be be an unsespecting vehicle but there was never any aftermarket suport for it and it died. The Galant can look bone stock and actually run a 10 sec. pass. A Turbo Dodge Spirit is also an odd car but again, a lack of support leaves it pretty much stock, so the only thing it could beat would be some Honda boys. It would not be out there suprising the V8 crowd or any of the more elite imports.

Ah... for all those (like me) who constantly hate on Rustangs.. A company out here called TEC made a quad turbo Mustang GT. 1500 Hp, looked mostly stock!
