The Caravan may be be an unsespecting vehicle but there was never any aftermarket suport for it and it died. The Galant can look bone stock and actually run a 10 sec. pass. A Turbo Dodge Spirit is also an odd car but again, a lack of support leaves it pretty much stock, so the only thing it could beat would be some Honda boys. It would not be out there suprising the V8 crowd or any of the more elite imports.
actually the caravan was built TO SURPRISE THE V8 crowd...that was it's intention basically. I have plenty of videos showing it walk away from camaros, mustangs, just about any V8 thrown at it.

The lack of factory support MAKES it a sleeper. A sleeper is a car you DONT expect to be fast or have anything done to it, then when it goes you realize it has more then a little something done to it.

A car that you point out :"many 10 second Galant VR4's" means it cant really be a sleeper because a lot of people are doing it and beginning to expect it.

So few people could tell one Galant from the next. Hell, alot of people would not even know what kind of car it was to begin with. That makes it a sleeper. When I was watching my friend line up at the drags in STL a few months ago, I remember waiting for his turn to go and next to him was a silver VR4. My friend said he looked over and saw this guy put on his helmet, so he thought, what the hell is this guy thinking, a helmet for that pice of ****. Well that piece of **** ran against the car in front of my friends and put down a 10.62. That is a sleeper. A four door car on stock wheels and tires that runs a 10.62 that just as easily can go out on the street and do the exact same thing, while everyone looks over at it and sees a four door grandma car.

I am not saying that your Caravan or Spirit or anything is not a sleeper, I am just saying that I think the Galant VR4 is the ultimate sleeper.
