As far as power goes, peak power will be similar, but EFI will make more low end and midrange power, and more area under the curve. Peak power will be roughly the same. EFI will be more drivable, especially in imperfect weather, granted its tuned right. Carbs are easy, there are few adjustments to make it run right. EFI is more complex, but in the end, will work better. Its simply a matter of where you want to spend your money.

1 word.

Motec.

Some other words.

Carbs are better for like, that crazy 6 rotor engine made by Hurley.

But only because i dont even think Motec could handle the split ignition timing of all 6 rotors. In this sense carbs are better. But thats it. EFI for life.

if you have the same sized carb vs the same sized injection the efi will always win because it doesnt have a venturi. you can of course get a bigger carb but then your low end suffers...

do i sound too anti carb? i'm not really i like my su's
