Bouncer At A Club?
A friend of mine works as a bouncer. He also works as a bounty hunter. He is a big black guy, 6'4", built like a frickin' truck. Basically,...you really don't want to mess w/ him ever. haha.
Anyways, he has been in a couple of fights. One time, he observed a drug deal going on IN the club he worked at. So, he promptly escorted the guy out. Well,...low and behold...the drug dealer attempted to do a drive by later that night. My friend, who is armed, shot back at the guy.
Well,...drug dealer happens to drive by a cop (about two to four blocks away from the scene). Told him, that he was shot at by my friend.
My friend, told the cop the situation,...and unfortunately, the drug dealer didn't have drugs on him (must have thrown it away). And because he (my friend) did shoot at the guy,...he was arrested.
He was sent to court. The judge issues him probation. He actually got off easy because he knew the DA (due to the bounty hunter work, etc.). But again,...due to the circumstances of the situation,....the judge HAD TO find my friend guilty. So,....he got probation.
The drug dealer was lucky.
Just to let you know that if you decide to become a bouncer. ALWAYS be aware of the situation. Make sure you understand what is going on and how to handle it. Not every situation is just a "throw them out of the club" type of affair. As 9BASE3 said,...you have to have a clean head.
On another note, my friend also runs his own private security company. All of his employees are excellent at providing security at various events (especially Hollywood parties). The stories, the stories....hahaha.
