Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or even tried this ECU from Buddy Club. I need opinions because I can get one for the same price as an Apexi S-AFC would cost.

It appears to me that it is not actually a replacement for the OEM ECU, but instead a piggyback system...it says that it connects to the car's main computer...if thats the case, I would just go w/ the APEXi S-AFC...its been used by many rotary owners with great results!
