Im going to outgrow anything below a 600 faster than its worth paying for it and like has been said resale value is EWWW.
a 250 is wayyyy out of the question, my banshee would prolly whoop that thing hehe. I have a .60 bore pipped and jetted banshee, thats alot of power so i know a 250 is too small.
Thnx alot guys, any suggestions on gear for riding? Im alrdy getting a helmet, this isn't florida : )

I recommend a full face helmet with interchangeable clear/tinted face shields, good motorcycle gloves with armor/padding, and a jacket with some armor/padding built in. I have the Joe Rocket Meteor 4.0 jacket, which has padding, zip-out liner, and a few vents. It's comfortable up to the upper 70's (temperature). It hardly gets below freezing here, and it's been comfortable into the 30's.
boots/shoes with ankle support is always good, for those times you need to put your foot down quickly, so you don't sprain you ankle or something. But I always wear tennis shoes.
I'm guessing some riding pants are good (though I have none), especially if you're going to do any track riding (are armored pants required for track riding?), or just risky riding.

crotch rockets are soooo fun tho
i had an r6 for a little over a year and loved every day of it, it is powerfull, and mine would hit 165 mph every time i asked it to. (in a damn hurry too) (165 was 6th gear redline) just respect the power, take a couple months before you start late braking and throttling in curves, and ASSUME EVERY CAR IS GOING TO CUT IN FRONT OF YOU. I did these things and lived to tell about it.
I sold my bike and now i want one so bad i can taste it, funds are lacking tho. remember that it is not just a hobby. chances are that that bike cost you more that your car, (unless you drive a 3rd gen) and that 10k is an investment regardless how you look at it.
did i mention that it felt like a cinder block was removed from my back when i sold it. I'd get crazy on that thing, just happy to be alive.
