Ireland is not the only country known for beer, there is Germany and Holland.

meh, I want to get my hands on a bottle of Double Bastard, Can't get them here in FL though, I am very fond of a good belgian dark ale myself, Augustine, Gulden Draak, and the occasional Harviestouns Old Engine Oil. I am big on the desert beers.

I think I've had that before.

theres a place down in one of the casinos on the Mississippi coast that brews its own beer in house.

the best is to go down when they're cleaning out the brewry and get the bottom of the barrell stuff. i have a friend that works down there, he lets me know when they do that.

Yeah it sure looks tasteful and sophisticated. Everyone knows the best drink in the world comes from Europe. Everyone in Europe knows the best drink comes from Ireland. Everyone in IRELAND knows that the best ale is Smithwicks. Did I mention I'm from IRELAND?

Smithwicks is ALE, Guinness is STOUT. Like comparing chalk and cheese.

thought was a lower grade stout. never had it, just saw it on tap locally. but since its an ale, ill go this week and give it a try. not a big fan of stouts....didnt mean to get you all worked up.
